Skool Dayz Cruise-In
Over 25 students of the Automotive class helped showcase 115 street rods and class cars at the 8th annual Skool Dayz Cruise-In at the Sabin-Schellenberg Professional Center in June. The fundraiser and community outreach event drew hundreds to peak under the hoods of some of the oldest cars still operating. Money raised from the event support SSC students to compete at the National Skills USA competition held this year Louisville, Kentucky. This student leadership organization assists students in learning leadership skills, teamwork, and community outreach as part of career and technical education. Educators Robert Christner, Robert Stafford, and Jason McCammon were on hand to assist students during the event.
