Judging Chicken Nuggets
Clackamas High Senior Josue Andrade is traveling to Indianapolis, Indiana this week to compete with over 200 students who are expected to showcase their understanding of chickens, eggs, and nuggets. The competition, part of the FFA, the exterior and interior of eggs, live chickens, and parts of chickens that will make their way normally to the local butcher shop. Andrade competes with other members from the Sabin-Schellenberg Center’s Land Lab. He is the Chapter Secretary and will be joined by other team members who learn about animals and agriculture.
The competition takes place over a week and will possibly lead to a medal. The local chapter is considered a regular front runners during the poultry competition.
