Advanced Broadcasting Sweeps at Mt. Hood Festival

Isaak Trejo, Henry Reinertsen, Bailee Horner, Carter McAllister, and Riley Wells hold up their medals.

Students from the SSC Advanced Broadcasting program took first place in the first-ever Mt. Hood Digital Media Festival late last week.   Seniors Riley Wells and Carter McAllister produced a commercial in the Video Production category that focused on Bob’s Red Mill.   In the Digital Cinema category, Isaak Trejo and Henry Reinertsen were awarded first place for a short movie that centered around SAT scores.  Bailee Horner took first place in Animation.   Senior Cassandra Roshu placed second in photography.   The students were given prompts and expected to complete their projects in 8 days.  They were awarded medals and Amazon gift cards at the award ceremony held on Friday afternoon at Sandy High School.
