She enjoys exploring complex topics through her writing, particularly themes surrounding human nature, popular culture, and criminal justice within schools. A former varsity athlete, Alexis has competed in multiple sports and remains actively engaged in her school community, including having been a member of clubs like the National Art Honor Society.
