Allie Lackershire is the current Editor in Chief of The Compass. She is a junior at Adrienne C. Nelson with plans to major in journalism and mass communications. Allie enjoys writing community-centered pieces that foster a sense of unity and connection. She is an alum of the Iowa Summer Journalism Workshop and plans to attend again next summer. Allie is a member of her school’s National Honor Society and a regular volunteer at The Clackamas Bookshelf. She is one of the current varsity girls’ golf captains and is a varsity cross-country runner. Her hopes for this year include increasing her knowledge and growing her passion for journalism by serving as an outlet for her community.
